Why should I bother with ECO?

What is ECO?

ECO is a Government grant, available to homeowners, tenants and landlords to help them cut their utility bills and raise their energy performance certificate (EPC). It partly or fully covers the cost of a central heating system, solar panels and insulation.

Why is the Government doing it?

The funding for the grant is provided by energy companies that benefited from many years of non-insulated homes. The grant contributes to the Government's overall aim of reducing greenhouse emissions to net zero by 2050.
