Heat Pumps
Commercial heat pumps are an efficient way to heat your business. They are available in both air-source and ground-source models, both of which use a heat exchange process to transfer heat from outside the building to the inside.

Air-source heat pumps use the air as a heat source, while ground-source heat pumps use the constant temperature of the ground as a heat source. By using a heat pump, you can save on energy costs and reduce your environmental footprint.

Case Study: Ivyhouse
As part of this project, two new ETA Hack 200KW biomass boilers were installed to replace the old oil boilers that were previously used to heat the eight houses and industrial building on the property.

Before the installation of the biomass boilers, significant groundworks had to be undertaken to create a suitable site for the new boilers. This included the excavation of a new fuel store, the installation of a new heating distribution system, and the modification of the existing heating infrastructure.

Since the installation of the new biomass boilers, Ivyhouse has seen a significant reduction in their energy bills and has become much less reliant on grid power. In addition, the old oil boilers have been retained as a backup in case of any maintenance issues with the biomass boilers.
Overall, the installation of the new biomass boilers has been a success for Ivyhouse, reducing their carbon footprint, lowering their energy bills, and supporting the local economy.
