The Great British Insulation Scheme (formally, ECO+) is a scheme that will be released shortly. It is for those who are not normally eligible for funding. This Government funded grant will go towards the cost of insulation for millions of people.

What is The Great British Insulation Scheme?
Formally known as ECO+, The Great British Insulation Scheme is a UK Government funded scheme, aimed at helping those cut the cost of their energy bills by having approved installers install insulation in their property.
The scheme is scheduled to run from Summer 2023 until March 2026 and will run alongside the existing ECO scheme.
What insulation can be installed on the The Great British Insulation Scheme?
The scheme allows for the installation of the following measures:

While the measures vary in cost from property to property, all of them are guaranteed to save you money on your heating bill.
How do I Qualify for The Great British Insulation Scheme?
To qualify for the Great British Insulation Scheme, you need to be a homeowner or private tenant, in a property that has an energy performance certificate rating (EPC) of a D or below and it's within the lower council tax bands (A-D for England, A-E in Wales and Scotland).

Will there be a contribution required?
Potentially. It will depend on your circumstances (i.e household income, property size, current energy performance rating, in receipt of benefits).
